The next big milestone is here! 2,500 orders shipped!
We are very close to hitting the halfway point in our shipping campaign. Our shipping team is deep into the 2-pin tier and getting closer every day to reaching 3-pin and higher!
But with good news comes some bad news, so let's address the elephant in the room--COVID-19.
The Bad News
Fursona Pins is located in Illinois, USA which is currently under quarantine during the COVID-19 crisis. Until the quarantine is lifted, we cannot welcome our newest shipping team members into our work space due to restrictions on travel, social distancing measures, and closure of non-essential businesses.
This will, unfortunately, slow the process of shipping, but there is nothing we can do until the quarantine is lifted and our workers can safely and legally return to our work space.

Four of our team members live together in the same household and are effectively quarantined together in our work space, thus we can continue shipping products and handling other day to day Fursona Pins business together. This means that we can continue shipping our Pride Pins campaign, as well as orders from our Fursona Pins shop, but it is at a reduced rate. We were operating at 6-8 people per shift to reach the kind of numbers we have been achieving. That said, the four of us still able to work under these circumstances are still dedicated to doing so during this difficult time.
The Quarantine And Us
As you may already know, social distancing and cleanliness is absolutely crucial to a successful quarantine. We have an instant dispensing hand sanitizing station, strict protocol to avoid others not part of our household (even our outgoing mail is picked up without requiring us to interact with postal workers), and plenty of soap from a year long subscription to two furry soap companies. :)
We hope to remain healthy and sheltered until the quarantine is lifted, at which case we will be able to return to full productivity in shipping. Until that point, we ask that you be patient with the speed at which everything is shipping - we have no control over government mandates during the crisis, and are obligated to follow the law for both our safety and everyone else's.
Until Then...
We welcome you to take a look at the newest products we've released in our Pride line--PVC badges. These badges are 4.5" tall, double sided, durable, and made of plastic! We had hoped to debut these products during the springtime conventions, but unfortunately those conventions have been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
We have also vastly expanded our line of wristbands. There's something for everyone now!

A Productive March Ahead

Hello Friends!
This is a quick notice that we're going to start seeing a lot more orders going out throughout the course of March. We have the month's schedule PACKED with our fulfillment workers scheduled for shifts (3-5 workers a day), and they're going to start burning through the shipments quickly. We're closing in on finishing up the 1 Pin tier and looking forward to seeing more of you receive your pins! We love seeing your photos on Twitter, it's very heartwarming to see how much folks love the pins :)
Our manufacturer has informed us that Moths and Opossums are going to be shipping to us this month, so customers with those species can expect to see their pins arriving sooner than the others in the last e-mail. For the other "problem" species, we've been informed the replacement shipment will come in early May.
This campaign has been a long process, with lots of twists and turns and good news and bad, but we're glad to have every single one of you with us. The resulting products (if Twitter posts are any indication) are bringing a lot of happiness and validation, and the response has made this a meaningful experience. We can't count the number of people who have posted on social media or messaged us saying they started crying with happiness when they saw the contents of their packages.
As a content creator, bringing validation and happiness, especially to folks who are often left out of Pride campaigns, has always been the primary goal. Fursona Pins hopes to continue serving the LGBTQIA+ and furry communities for years to come.

1,000 orders shipped!
We've successfully shipped out 1/5th of the orders! We've been hacking through the 1 Pin Tier, sending those out, and plan to finish those up and moving onto 2-Pin tier soon. The majority of customers are in 4-Pin Tier and below, so after we get through to the 4-Pin tier, the vast majority of you should have your packages.
We are thinking it will take about a month to get through the 1-Pin, 2-Pin, 3-Pin, and 4-Pin packages. Our team is handling about 150-200 packages a day when in full swing.
However, with good news also comes some bad news. We've paused shipping for the past couple days to do a complete quality inspection on some of the species after running into a number of them that didn't reach our quality expectations.
The following species and flag combinations are affected:
Red Panda (Bisexual, Demisexual, Gay, Genderqueer, NonBinary, Pastel, Pride Pal, Transgender, Unity)
Ball Python (Pastel, Unity, Pride Pal, Custom Pastel Rainbow)
If you did not order a pin from this list, then your order is still in queue for shipping based on the tier you selected. If you ordered a pin from this list, we will be shipping your package out after we receive the remakes from the manufacturer, which will take 1-1.5 months. Unfortunately, the coronavirus outbreak has affected the productivity in overseas factories, which may result in a longer wait as many workers have not returned to work yet, but we are hoping to get these back in within 1.5 months.
In the meantime, there are still PLENTY (EG:thousands) ofpackages unaffected by the above list that we will continue shipping out. We have been seeing a lot of folks posting their pins on Twitter and Facebook, which is super exciting! Thank you :)

Shipping has begun!

Shipping has begun! The first hundred or so orders are scheduled for pickup today.
Organizing all of the pins (and the freebies) was a massive project, but we managed to get them worked into a system that allows the shippers to pick and pack them with relative efficiency.
The plan is still that we're going to be shipping from the bottom tier up (so we're currently working on the 1Pin Tier, which is about 800 of you). The shippers are still learning where everything is, so the process is a little slow at the moment but as they pack more and more packages they'll start getting faster and we'll hopefully see lots of packages leaving the office!
Again, don't forget that we're a very small team and there's over 5,000 of you--it's going to take some time to get all of these packages put together. We have anywhere from four to six people working at any given time so we're able to get out a decent amount of packages each day, but it's still estimated to take a month or so before we finish up all the shipping :)
Still, if you've been waiting excitedly for your Pride Pins, they're coming soon! We hope you like them! It's been a long wait getting these drawn, prepped, manufactured, checked in, organized, and shipped out, but we definitely think that having one (or more!) of these handmade beauties makes it worth it. Not to mention, with all the swag (pictured above in the swag towers), you'll be getting a lot of cool stuff with your order. Isn't that wonderful?

This is going to be quick as we’re getting a UHAUL truck and moving all the products over today, but things are moving full steam ahead! The organization system is ready and all designs have been organized into boxes according to the number of products ordered by backers.
If all goes well we should have everything unloaded and organized into the storage shelves, labeled, and training can begin tomorrow.
If you’re curious, the number of boxes used in the organization system is 358.... :)
